For the past few years I have switched over to basically using all natural skin care so I figured it was about time to do that with my makeup as well. I still have products and brands that I love that aren't considered clean that I will still continue using. For products that I am using everyday I will try and keep it to clean. I am just at the beginning stages of researching and trying clean makeup brands and here are some products and brands I have been liking.

Moonrise Creek

This brand was recommended to me by my cousin. I followed @moonrisecreek on instagram and really liked what she had to say about her line. I could tell she really cares about the products she is creating. A heads up to the ladies ordering from Canada, shipping is quite pricey so I usually wait till she does sales.

This foundation is medium to full coverage and has a matte finish. It is in the shade medium which is a bit dark when I first put it on my skin but it blends nicely. For everyday wear I blend it with vitamin E oil so it doesn't look so full coverage.

I really like this concealer for covering up blemishes. It is also in the shade medium, but I find it to be a shade lighter than my foundation so it still works for concealing and brightening under the eyes. It is bendable and doesn't crease once set with powder. I also purchased her setting powder and I really like it. The only thing is it is not completely matte it has shimmer in it.

I like the finish of this highlight. It is shimmery without being glittery, but I think the shade might be a bit light for me and would suit fairer skin tones. Also you get a lot of product in the sample size so I recommend getting it as opposed to the full size. It makes for a pretty inner corner and brow highlight as well.

I like this bronzer, it is great for warming up the skin. I am not sure how good it would look on fair skin tones, it may look too orange. It is definitely not matte so it doesn't work for contouring. It looks quite pretty as a all over lid color as well.

I'm not a huge fan of this lip and cheek tint. I found it to be a bit dry and hard to blend. The color is nice but I think it works best on fair skin tones. The shade is dusty rose.

I got both the brown and black eye liners. The formulation is creamy and blend-able. Both liners have good pigmentation. The only thing is I did find they smudged a bit by the end of the day, so not super long wearing.

I unfortunately as you can see dropped this product (I was not happy) but I do really like it. It is a brow powder and I also use it as a liner. Pigmentation is good, I tried using it as a crease color but it didn't blend super well. I believe the color is medium brown.

Gabriel

I found this line at Natures Fair Market but you can also purchase it online

I am not the biggest fan of this concealer. It works for brightening under the eyes but you have to make sure the under eye is well moisturized or else it creases. I also find it doesn't cover up blemishes very well. If you have dry skin I wouldn't recommend it. This is in the shade light.

I have a major problem of my eye shadow always creasing, so I am forever on the hunt for a good eye shadow base. This one is good but my eye shadow still crease within a few hours but for the average person I think this would work well. This is in the shade warm beige.

I was pretty impressed with the lipstick color range Gabriel had. The formulation is creamy and the color is build-able.

Pacifica

I found this line at a local health food store. You can also find it online.

I really like the color of this lipstick. The formulation is creamy and the coverage is sheer but build-able.

This blush color reminds me as warm soul by mac cosmetics. The pigmentation is really good and you get a nice color payoff. I am very interested in trying more from this line.

Josie Maran

I purchased this at sephora.

I love this cream highlight for a natural glow. Sometimes I mix it with my foundation if I want a more dewy look. It also works for a brow bone and inner corner highlight.

Hope this gives you inspiration to try out some clean beauty products!
